Active Power sales and distributor organizations visit Austin TX HQ

A series of symposiums have been taking place at the company's headquarters and manufacturing plant in Austin TX,throughout the Fall, following the announcement of Active Power’s latest product launch CLEANSOURCE® PLUS.

The final delegation of representatives from Active Power’s over 40 “ManRep” (manufacturer’s representative) organisations and CAT distributors, (who also act as re-sellers for Active Power) attended the company’s Austin TX headquarters and production plant from right across the United States last week.

Following a set format, the final event began with an informal welcome evening at a traditional Texan eating house followed the next day by product training presentations, real-time demonstrations and a factory tour.

CLEANSOURCE® PLUS offers a 20% increase in output from the same footprint as the original CLEANSOURCE® product, along with corresponding cost savings per kilowatt.

Like the original CLEANSOURCE ®, which has now been installed in over 5,000 mission-critical power installation across the USA and around the world, CLEANSOURCE® PLUS is available in single (SMS) and multi (MMS) module configuration. The latest incarnation of Active Power’s stalwart is now available in 300kW “building blocks” ranging from 300kW up to 2,400kW.

Jack Pearce, COO for Active Power Inc:

"These are exciting times for Active Power and our customers. With our latest generation Cleansource systems, factory built and tested here in Austin, it simply means that customers can now get another 20% more bang for the same buck and we will soon be offering an entire UPS plant room as a containerised option”
