UPS Regional Channel Sales– Southeast Location (preferably Atlanta area)

The specialist is expected to have extensive experience in UPS sales, construction and application. The incumbent should also have an accurate understanding of the target customers, their needs and issues. A positive and energetic approach is required to assure the success in meeting both expectations of the team and the strategic partners.

• Management of our Representative Sales partners Sales of Active Power Uninterruptible Power Supply Equipment.
• Maintain market awareness with respect to competition, new technical advances and procedures and pricing for comparable products.
• Incumbent will interface with customer base, which is inclusive of end users, consulting engineers and electrical contractors, while building strong and lasting relationships.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Coordinate with our Service division on startups and testing.
• Position requires some overnight travel.

• Qualified candidate preferably has extensive back ground in the UPS business in some/most of following territory: Georgia, Ohio, Virginia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, and N. Mississippi.
  
  This is a home-office based position so incumbent will need to live in the region near a major airport (Example: Atlanta) and have previous/current experience covering this region in a UPS sales capacity.
• A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• 3 to 7 years experience in the UPS field is required.
• Must have specific knowledge of power distribution systems, electrical theory, electrical designs and schematics.
• Requires good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Must also be proficient in PC software applications including: Word, Visio, AutoCAD LT, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
